Liana Wall IDTA (Principal)

Liana is a full member of the IDTA in Ballet, Modern Jazz and Tap. Dance styles include street, hip-hop, disco, tap, ballet, jazz, body conditioning, flexibility and singing to all people of all ages.
Trained at Stella Mann College, Liana has represented the UK in dance championships and was apart of England's biggest freestyle group. Appearing on ITV's - "So you think you can dance" - meeting Eilene Phillips and BBC's "Top of the Pops. Liana has performed all over the world, working with Kylie Minogues backing dancers for her "Fever" tour and has choreographed for many Girl Bands for their tours and music videos. 
Qualifications:
23yrs dance experience, A level Dance, OCN Dance, BTEC National Diploma in Dance and Performing Arts, HNC Dance, RAD, IDTA and ISTD Dance Examinations, 12 yrs professional teaching experience.
Full International Dance Teachers Association Member in Tap, Ballet, Disco / Freestyle, Jazz and Modern Jazz
Liana is united with Streetdance International (SDI), International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) & Association of Dance Freestyle Professionals (ADFP)





Deanne Whenman (Vice Principal)

Deanne started dancing at the age of 3 studying Ballet, Tap and Modern. Continuing dance training to achieve a BTEC Diploma in dance and Performing Arts both with distinction grades.
Deanne is trained highly in RAD, ISTD and IDTA.
Deanne has also achieved a HND in professional Stage Dance and is pursuing her teaching career with Dance Academy and the IDTA. Deanne is a much loved teacher and continues to offer her high teaching skills to all of her students.





Tammy Wall (Main Teacher & Management)


Tammy has been a well known artist in the performing arts industry since she was at secondary school. As a member of Liana's family, she knows the high standard of professionalism that is held by Dance Academy UK. Tammy has always had the lead role in all her stage performances, and there have been many! Some of her credits include: Mabel in Fame, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Dorothy in Wizard of Oz and Nancy in Oliver! Dance Academy UK is pleased to have Tammy on board and with her amazing singing, acting and dance ability she is sure to help the students in becoming a star!






Penny Casper (Main Teacher)

Penny has been dancing from a young age and is experienced in all types of dance, such as IDTA and ISTD ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary and street dance. At the age of 18 Penny went on to gain a BTEC National Diploma in Dance with a distinction grade. Penny is an established dancer in the industry and regularly enjoys performing in shows. Her passion for teaching makes her a wonderful asset to the school. Penny brings a lot of fun and laughter to her classes and is loved by all she teaches. Penny is an Asscoaite Member of IDTA in Freestyle.






Lauren Bunting (Main Teacher)


Lauren has began dancing aged 2 and has taken classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical and Street Dance since then whilst taking these classes she has performed in a number of shows and competitions as well as four years of professional pantomimes. While at school she also completed three Easter courses at The Arts Education School, Tring Park  and performed in 'Heroes' at the Lyceum theatre, West End. Lauren is President of the University Dance Society and regularly performing and involved with competitions across the country and putting on various shows including FAME the Musical. Lauren is very excited to be apart of Dance Academy UK and only wants the best for all her classes and those she teaches.

Milly Robinson
(Assistant)

Milly has been a dedicated assistant to Dance Academy UK from the start. She has been involved with all major events including Summer Schools and Theatre Shows and Performances. Milly has been a street dance teacher and assistant to main teachers and is a true asset to the school. Milly is loved by all staff and pupils and is always a hard working member of the team. 







Julia Miller (Ballet Teacher)


Julia is currently on maternity leave - we wish her all the best and look
forward to her return!

Sonia June (Administrator)


Sonia began working for the academy in 2007. Having had a lot of experience with secretarial work Sonia is a joy to have as part of the team. Sonia used to dance when she was a child also, taking regular ballet and tap classes.
Sonia is qualified in child care and holds a degree in child development
